Huntsman Program vs. Georgetown SFS. PLEASE HELP.

Hello!

I'm trying to choose between the University of Pennsylvania's Huntsman Program and Georgetown's School of Foreign Service.

I'm interested in IR and am worried that Huntsman will have minimal focus on IR and more on international business/IS.

Any thoughts?

Compare the faculties , the people who you will have chance to attend class under, and you will get your answer.

Huntsman is invaluable, I’d go there

The Georgetown School of Foreign Service is indisputably the first of its kind.

For IR, I would generally say SFS – HOWEVER, you were admitted to Huntsman. If you are not interested in the business aspect at all, then do not do it, but if you can handle the workload and have an interest in the business angle along with the IR, Hunstman is really a unique opportunity, which many would find hard to pass up. Congratulations!

Unless you know for certain you want to be in foreign service (low pay, go where they send you), Huntsman.

Philadelphia vs. Washington DC…
Both schools are well above average, but which one will you gain the most networking and work experience from? Which school will you be able to assume a great position immediately after grad? Which one offers more than just going to class and learning from a curriculum?

I am biased… but the post above be has merit…
But… Georgetown is all about what you make it, and that’s what I love about it… the endless possibilities.
