I am planning on applying ED to Wharton at UPenn, but I was also interested in the Huntsman program. I realize that on the app you have an option to Apply ED to Huntsman and have Wharton as your second choice if you're rejected from the Huntsman program. My question is do you stand a better chance getting into wharton if you apply just ED to Wharton, or to both Huntsman and Wharton? Does applying to Hunstman ED, negate your ED advantage at Wharton? Sorry for all the questions I'm just a bit confused about this, and I'd appreciate any responses. Thanks.

No, it does not. Your application to the single-degree choice schools will not be affected by applying to Huntsman (at least that’s what they claim).

When they say you need intermediate level proficiency in a language, to apply, how do they measure that? I have been taking Spanish since middle school and I’m taking AP next year (my grades are decent for those classes), so would this be enough. Also is the SAT II in Spanish a requirement?

To exhibit proficiency in a target language, one must take that language’s SAT Subject test and score reasonably well (probably 700+?). If your target language cannot be tested through the Collegeboard (ex: Arabic, Russian etc.) then you will have to take their own test sometime after you submit your application.
