<p>Do I need to call the uni to explain to them that I will need extra time to apply since of the hurricane?? Or will mentioning it on the online app be enough? What happens if they close the link for the online app after nov 1?</p>
<p>First visit the college website to see if there is any thing posted regarding people affected by hurricanes Rita, katrina and Wilma.</p>
<p>If you do not see anything, I would recommend finding out who your regional rep is at MIT and contacting him/her because you would not be alone in your inquiry.</p>
