<p>Has anyone else done the Husky For A Day Honors College ambassador program? I had mine today, and I have to say I was really impressed - I really liked it, even though I had to sit through multivariable calc(!); the Honors dorms were great and the English class I went to was really fun. Also, the student "ambassadors" were really helpful.</p>
<p>Anyone else have any impressions?</p>

<p>My D did Husky for a day last week and really enjoyed it. Since UConn is actually her second choice, I wanted her to go and see how she would feel if that’s where she ended up. I think it definitely helped her. She now feels that she would be really happy at Uconn if she goes there. She got to sit in on an evolutionary biology class, which she enjoyed, but she didn’t get to see the freshman honor’s dorm because her guide lives in an apartment. That’s okay, the dorm rooms aren’t that important to her. It would have been nice though, for them to arrange for an incoming honors student to get to see the actual dorm they would be in, I guess.</p>
