I'm considering going into the or Geosystems Engineering and Hydrogeology as my major in college.
Can anyone please post the rankings of the undergrad geosciences? Also how hard is it to get accept into Jackson School of Geosciences? (University of Texas)
I want to go to grad school for sure, should I get my M.S. in Geology area, or would a MBA be good idea as well? Or both?

Colorado School of Mines is very good. I believe that the University of Calgary in Canada is also quite reputable.

Anyone else? Would be highly appreciated!

UT Jackson school is an extremelly good program. If you are in texas and get accepted it is hard to beat (though I am a grad of tex tech and a&m --and if you have a desire to go there they are fine also) … Truthfully there are lots of good programs around the country, and since you are ocmmitted ot grad school which is good , it matter less… look around for some interesting professors, drop a note on specifics.

And if you want to ‘do’ geology at all go for Msc in Geoscience… if you later are interestedin business go to MBA,
