Thank you!

all the objective factors looks great, so it’s now up to the essays and how well the admission officers deem you a necessary asset to their campus. try to present your activities in such a way that you show a thread, a connection between them; why is it that you do what you do, what is it that makes you excited, etc. the best of luck!

I’m such a fail Indian lol

lol howw?
anyone else, help me?

Idk I feel like all Indians are like valedictorian with almost perfect sat score, great ec lol

HYP is a crapshoot. Either you get in or you dont and only reason you get in may be because of the indian music.

What are your other choices?

I think your passion for music will help a lot and scores are obviously great as is

Who have you performed with, I’m Indian by the way =]

Chance back?

Good chance at all, but like everyone says, it is a crapshoot.

Still, your stats are really solid, so I think with good essays you will likely get in.

I’m looking at Harvard as the absolute dream school- I am applying to other Ivies and Stanford but thinking of Northwestern, Emory, Carnegie Mellon, etc.
I don’t want to reveal my identity by saying who I performed with because you could find pages of it if you Googled me lol, but Indian music is definitely a HUGE part of my life and I’ll be using that largely for my essays.
Thank you everyone! Does anyone else have suggestions?

definitely in at Emory, Northwestern, CMU if not computer science.

Harvard was the dream school for 33,000 who did nt get in this year and probably 36,000 who wont get in 2012. So dont get too attached.

hmmm Columbia, UPenn maybe?

going to have to bump this sighhh…
