Honestly I don’t know why people make these anymore. If you have a 2200+ SAT/33+ ACT score, a slew of leadership extracurriculars, some awards, and a fantastic application, you have just as good of a shot as anyone.

The people who have a boost are a) legacies or b) do something ridiculous and have been amazingly successful (i.e. prodigy musician).

Your test scores are good, ECs are pretty good, seems like your essays are good as well. You’ll just have to wait and see.

I’d say 20% harvard, 25% Princeton, 30% yale. No hooks i’m assuming? That will hurt you a little. Also, where are you from and what’s your ethnicity? If your asians thoughs will go down but if your a male hispanic/black you should be golden.

White male, no hooks, Missouri. Where I’m from is the only thing close to an advantage that I have. Missouri, and the Midwest for that matter, is always underrepresented.

It is, so I believe that this percentages would stand. It would be lower because you are white, but then it is raised because your from missouri.
My only advice is to write killer essays and knock the doors off the interview. Good Luck!

gee…thanks a hole- you just stole my spot at HYP! jk
but seriously you are seem extremely smart and have awesome xtra currics. you will definetly get in anywhere.
Now go to my thread and chance me!!! hehe
