HYP > Penn/Columbia/Brown..etc

um. what does PPE and EPE stand for? and what does BBB stand for?

i say flip a coin.

haha flip a coin? i would kill myself if i let a coin make my decisions.. and then regret them... umm dunno about EPE, but PPE is philosophy-politics-economics... BBB is biological basis of behavior

Thomas, I went through the same thing. I chose Penn. Go where you think you'll be most comfortable.

EPE is... Ethics, Politics & Economics.

it totally depends on what you want to study.

Decisons decisons decisions, Thomas :-)

If you want ultimate prestige, choose Yale. If you want ultimate fulfillment on all levels (academic and social), choose Yale. My friend graduating from Penn grad school (after Harvard undergrad) agrees.

i agree wit yale too... i feel im betraying penn.. >.<

If you are 32 and are looking for a more mature social scene at the university, choose Penn. Your perspective is obviously different from the average immature incoming American freshman.

I came in a couple of years older at Penn myseld. There is at Penn the possibility to find students my age, grad and professional students, and not be confined to the undergraduate social scene. There is also the entire city surrounding the school. Now, don't get me wrong, the undergraduate social scene is great, but since I am a couple of years older I sometimes want other types of social interactions. Finding this type of social scene would have been harder at a school in a small town where 95% of students live in residential colleges and there is a quite small graduate school.

I am sure that Yale is amazing socially - that is, if you are 18. Your needs are different from an 18-year old's. I would - knowing what I know now - go to Penn in a heartbeat.

I meant to say "choose Penn" when i said ultimate social fulfillment and such...my bad!

It's going to be a hard decision for me. Penn is offering me financial aid and housing and Yale is only offering acceptance into their school, although a lot of people would be happy with that. :)

COME TO PENN THOMAS!!!

LOL, Johnny. I was like "Woah, he betrayed Penn."

Yeah, I couldn't believe JK was "turning" on his own school...lol :D

I'd never turn on Penn, I <3 it too much.

What about grad school?!

I might do the Lauder program, but I hear it's good to get some institutional diversity on your CV. So I'll head for Chicago or Columbia I suppose
