pre-trial attorney? and u always got 5’s I bet.

your stats are fab of course. your focus on law excellent. you’ll get in!

in my opinion the best college mock trial teams (and therefore under-grad law educations) are: USC, Cal, Stanford, University of Washington, and George Wahington. UW being the best team in the country right now!

I’d say HYPS are reaches as they’re for everyone but you’ve got better chances than most of us. This part of your app certainly looks top-notch and your recs and essays will be the deciding factor.

Chance me back and give some advice on my list please!
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/817240-chance-int-unusual-country-get-chanced-back.html

HYPS- are all of course reaches, but applying broadly to them, im sure you’ll get into at least one with those excellent statistics

chance me back
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/816326-chance-my-ucs.html

University of North Carolina – Shoe in
University of Virginia – Shoe in
Harvard University – High Reach
Yale University – Mid Reach
Princeton University – Reach
Stanford – In
Dartmouth University – In
Brown University – In
Duke University – In

Only thing holding you back is relatively weak AP scores and not enough IMO. Other than that, you could get into at least one school from HYPSM.

Chance me back.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/817434-transfer-uc-berkeley.html

i’d say in for all with HYPS a good shot again, at least 1/4 of those will accept you. you’re not perfect and thats better than having a 2400 and 1/480 for those schools

Chance Me!
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/816403-little-unsure-chances.html

Harvard University - High Reach (like always…)
Yale University - A little better than Harvard
Princeton University - Mid to High Reach
Stanford - Mid to High Reach
Dartmouth University - Match to Low Reach
Brown University - Same as Dartmouth
Duke University - In

You are a very strong applicant, and I think your essays and what they think of your ECs will be the deciding factor. You have the scores, a copious amount of passionate ECs; with good essays it would be no surprise if you got in!

Chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/816932-cha-chance-me-will-chance-back.html

Great shot at all. Chance me please? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/816473-chance-aa-female-elite-schools-updated-stats.html

HYPS- In at one
Dartmouth, Brown - In at 1/2 or both
Duke - In

Sorry to be critical, but Mock Trial isn’t very impressive.

There is no “Lead Attorney” in the structure of the competition, but you could be the team captain.

It’s a 5-9 person team, and doing well is based on the TEAM not you.

If colleges understand that, it will detract from your application a TON.

You still have good chances, but keep in mind that Mock Trial isn’t absolutely amazing.

actually our team is structured so that the lead attorney makes post trial arguments if there are any material objections. and lead attorney also doubles per side.

just like captain, lead attorney is decided on a team by team basis.
and its a 6-12 person team. you cant run a side with only 5.

at least in texas. 3 witnesses plus 3 attorneys per side.

Please keep your word and chance back.

just did :)

bump

thanks for the feedback!

University of North Carolina safety
Duke University low Reach
U virginia- safety
Harvard- high Reach
Yale- High Reach
Princeton University High High Reach
Stanford High Reach /reach
Dartmouth University Match
Brown University Match

please chance back!

UT plan II - did you submit before nov 15? if so then def in
unc, - in
uva, - in
harvard, - mid reach
yale, - mid reach, but you have a big chance
princeton, - reach
stanford, -low reach
dartmouth, - in
brown, -in
duke.-in

chance me?

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/782305-emory-rice-usc-duke-princeton-etc-chances.html

Realistically:

Texas – safety/in
University of North Carolina – low match/in
University of Virginia – low match/in
Harvard University – reach/wl (perfect score for Harvard would get you in, from my experience, maybe retake for M/W 800’s?)
Yale University – reach/in
Princeton University – reach/idk
Stanford – reach/not in (you need a “hook” for Stanford, and while your stats are very impressive, I don’t see a “hook”)
Dartmouth University – reach/in
Brown University – reach/out (just a guess, Brown is random/I might biased because they hate my school)
Duke University – lower reach/in

overall, very good stats, gl with apps!

thanks. give me links and i’ll chance back!

im retaking the sat in january for 800 on math and 12 on essay, which would boost my w to 800

and i just finished applying to UT plan II today.

HYP are reaches like for everyone, but you have a better chance than most. Stanford is an interesting case, I’d say you’re high match/low reach for them. Dartmouth is low reach and Brown is very sporadic. Duke is a match and so is U.Va. Chance me back by clicking on my username and going to “Chance me and I’ll chance back guaranteed!” post. Thanks

k chanced back. Thanks!
