You’re about as good as it gets, but keep in mind thousands of other applicants are equally qualified. You’ll get into at least one, if not most, of those schools though.
Don’t be daunted by all of the times I wrote high reach, this is true for anybody. You have great stats, and great ec’s so, as others have said, you have a good chance at getting into some of these schools. Just write the best essays you can, and try to get across who you are as a person, that’s what it comes down to at this point in the process.

Chance?
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1568458-princeton-scea-will-chance-back.html</a></p>

You have a good chance for these schools. Obviously they can’t be classified as anything except a reach without some stellar EC (i.e winner of intel international science fair, performances at carnegie hall, something ridiculous like that). But all in all, you are a competitive candidate at these schools.
Chance me?

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1570453-chances-get-into-upenn-duke-johns-hopkins.html</a></p>

All these schools are classified as reaches pretty much, but I am sure you will get into at least one!

Chance back: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=1555080</a></p>

Sadly Ivy league schools are reaches for everyone, regardless of their SAT/ACT score, GPA, Ecs. From your academic standings, you are a very strong candidate. However, academics alone doesn’t separate you from other applicants, because many will have same or even better academic achievements than you. You need to distinguish yourself from the crowd through your essay! I hope this helps! :)

You have a good shot at most. And you don’t come across as a liar or someone who is obsessed with college. Keep that attitude on your essay. Your awards are good. I agree pretty much with the above poster. Just my 2 cents.

Wow you guys are the best! And Huehuehuehuehue, thanks so much! I just hope admissions officers can see this too… I’ve just been too lazy to obsess, that’s all ;)

People like you make me feel like I have no chance :frowning: If you dont get into at least one of those schools then I’ll be very surprised

Purpledino please don’t feel this way! I’m pretty sure you are just as competitive and maybe more  I used to feel this way too, but the key was to play on one’s strengths and to find one’s own niche. Mine just happens to be science, particularly chemistry and you’re probably much better than me in say math or the humanities (I’m a terrible historian).

Your stats are amazing, like everyone else has said, Ivy leagues are reaches for everyone but you are certainly a HIGHLY qualified candidate.

I disagree with most of the people saying reach. I agree that the schools of your choice, especially HYPSM are a reach for basically everyone, but with your stats, course load and amazing extra curriculars I’d say that these schools are all pretty low reaches. Definitely not high reaches. Of course as they say ivy league admission is somewhat of a crapshoot but I think you have what it takes. Good luck!

lol what a try hard… i got into harvard RD easy (class of 2017) nd here are my stats…
