<p>From the schools that I got into, only University of IOWA sent me I-20 w/ acceptance letter.</p>
<p>Is it unusual to receive I-20 w/ acceptance letter?</p>
<p>Some schools didn't even mentioned I-20. Does this mean I have to pay acceptance fee first to receive I-20?</p>

<p>Usually you get your I-20 after you have confirmed your enrollment (i.e. after making an enrollment deposit). Please don’t consider using Iowa’s I-20 if you are not planning to attend. Iowa would have to reconfirm your actual enrollment at the beginning of each semester, and if you are not there you will be in huge trouble with USCIS.</p>
