I <3 Harvard

Because the supplement is awesome!

But seriously though, is it just because the adcoms already know why people want to apply? (the diversity, the name, the education, the connections, research, recruitment out of H, etc.)

they probably don’t want us to use recycled stuff about why we want to go to a college. I mean let’s face it - most us applying to Harvard are also applying to Princeton, Stanford, Yale, and UPenn. It’s dumb to read cliche answers over and over again.

^That’s what I mean. Why are other universities of the same caliber using the ‘Why this school’ essay when they know that the vast majority of people will just write about the typical things with a few difference (like New Curric. and P/F at Brown, Core at Columbia, etc.)

It seems like Harvard got it right without having additional essays and most importantly, no ‘Why Harvard?’ essay.

Cos its Harvard. I honestly cannot think of any single reason. It’s just Harvard. Everything is awesome.

sigh Harvard is soooo dreamy…I want to get in so badly!!!

I hear you!!!
