Got a lovely letter today from the financial aid office stating my award (I'm an ED admit). Turns out my parents overestimated their income and I'm getting an extra $3,000. Sort of makes scholarship hunting useless now.

Niice! congrats

More money=greater Princeton love. And we can't have enough of that. Nuh uh. Not even that much.

Princeton's good with money that way. Congratulations.

Apparently not for everyone, (remember that valez thing way back) but on average it is superior.

Simply put, there is no better need-based financial aid program than Princeton.

Merit-based, as we all know, is rather lacking.

Well ivies don't have merit-based scholarships. I'm kind of ok with that because if they did, either a) everyone would deserve it or b) it would be so impossible/competitive

yea there is no way to give merit-based since everyone applying is quite amazing =P i think they should give regional scholarships like people from AZ because AZ has such a bad education system =P

i got a princeton email the other day, i was all excited. all it was was an automated response saying that my financial aid application was incomplete :/
