I accidentally sent my ACT score to a school that doesn't look at them...

I was mindlessly sending scores to all of the schools on my Common App list, and clicked the button to send them. About 5 minutes later I realized that Sarah Lawrence, one of my top choices, doesn't even LOOK at scores. Now when they receive them will they think I don't know anything about their school (I do) and will it reflect negatively on me as an applicant (even though my essay does reflect how much I do want to go there)? Should I send their admissions office an email explaining why I sent the score? Thanks.

forgetaboutit

<------------- beyond stressed.

don't worry about it at all, they will just ignore it....no big deal at all

mistakes happen and this is nothing

All you did was waste a little money. Don't worry. (Unless you needed that money to pay for some life-saving operation or something like that.)

The college app process is complicaed. Even if you were only applying to one school, it would be so, but applying to several, all with different requirements, makes it much worse.

Schools realize it, and I doubt that any adcoms are going to even care about minor procedural issues.

Take a deep breath and go onto the next item you will stress over!!

haha, thanks, much appreciated.
