I got low on the ACT, but submitted it to NC State before I knew how I did... If I have a better SAT score and submit that, will they discard the poor ACT score, or will they still use that to consider my admission. Thanks.

I did the same thing with subject tests. I’ve been told that most universities only consider your highest score.

Hey! Don’t stress about it. I’m pretty sure NC State takes super scores (they only look at your best scores).! Hope this helps!

Send the better scores. You can’t do anything else as once a school has the scores, you can’t take them back. But most schools do us the best scores according to the rules they lay out.

What are my chances of getting into UNCC, NCST,ECU, App

Some larger colleges have a computerized system that automatically updates scores on an application as new scores are electronically reported. This would make sense as admission staff would not want to spend hours sifting through piles of applications and test reports and filling them in manually.

Colleges that request all scores will look at all scores, but I don’t think NCSU requests all scores. If they take a superscore, they will take your highest score.
