I went to Penn State University last summer and took a course in sociology, got an A and 3 college credits.

Although I haven't seen them, I've been told my recommendations are exceptionally good. Assuming my essays were decent as well, what do you think my chances of getting into the following colleges are?

NYU (ED)
Michigan (EA)
Maryland
Syracuse
Brandeis
George Washington
Northeastern (EA)
Drexel

BTW: I am from Pennsylvania

Bump bump bump

For NYU I don’t know what program you want but I think your EC’s and GPA look good. I’m no expert, of course, but…
Your SAT is good too, I think the NYU average is around an 1890/1900?

I’m somewhere around your range (SAT a bit higher, GPA a bit lower) applying there ED too (Tisch Film/TV) so I know that my essays and portfolio are going to make or break my application, but I’ve heard over and over again that no matter what school you apply to, your essays and recs are considered very important factors, EC’s less so, GPA/SAT flexible.

Good luck!

If you think that is eligible school on your course that can be collected, go for it, follow your dream.
