I finally got accepted!!! So happy.... but I have several questions:

1) On my status it says.... Admit - College Reviewed .... What does "College Reviewed" mean??

2) I got admitted into Computer Science.... and for the degree... it says .. Degree: Bachelor of Science .... What are the degree for Computer Engineering and Mechanical Engineering?

3) My parents want me to change to computer engineering.... is it possible to change??

The University is made up of Colleges, one of which is College of Engineering, and the engineering college is made up of Departments, one of which is the Computer Science Department and another one is Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, and other departements include Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, etc. College Reviewed means your application was reviewed for determination of admission by persons in the College of Engineering and in particular the Computer Science Department. Bachelor of Science is the college degree sought and given for all majors in the College of Engineering including Computer Science and Computer Engineering. Not likely you can change now because it would need to be approved by the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department in the College of Engineering and that Department will not want to consider any such changes until well after it knows how many students accept offers of admission to its majors. Possible you could change during orientation before classes start next year. Nevertheless, the College prefers that students not attempt to change until after freshman year although after first semester is also a possibility. For the most part, all engineering students take the same or similar courses in the first year regardless of major. If your grades are fine then it should be fairly easy to change -- if you are in the college of engineering, changing majors within it is not that difficult after first year; if you are in a different college such as the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences and try to switch to a major in the College of Engineering that is more difficult because you have to meet some rather high minimum GPA requirements to make the transfer and that kind of transfer is usually not considered until after second year.
