My interviewer told me that there is PROBABLY at most 3 people in Oregon! LOL Sorry! I didn't want to make anyone feel bad..But he said in that case (or either way, the interview is not THAT important)

I'm just disappointed that Columbia interviews doens't have as much weight as it does in other colleges...

My interview was mostly composed of my question for my interviewer...it's like 65 % of the things we discussed were sparked the question i asked him, and I guess he got an impression of who I am by asking the questions.

Had interview today..@starbucks it was about 30min and went sooo fast
I did most talking and the interviewee was pretty ok...I'm happy that Im over with it..^^

Hah yeah, there aren't too many here and I think I know who all of them. When the admission rep had a reception here, three or so alums of the College showed up.

I had my interview yesterday and it lasted about 45 mins. Kinda cool, not very much q and a and a good portion of philosophy. Pretty fun and insightful into Columbia. Good luck to all!

I also had my interview (last week).. the alumnus who interviewed me said i was his first interviewee!

I live in singapore.. and i sent my part 2 in at the start of october so i think that's why i got my interview so early.. we talked for about 45/50 minutes.. I think it went well..
Do you think the interview has an impact on the application in any way?...(neg or pos?)

i live in canada. i think i was his first interviewee too.
but i think the interviews have much less to do with the application than other things. It's ranked like 5th after marks, sat scores, ecs, etc. so i don't know. I know the interviewers write up a report and send it to new york..i think its mostly positive - if the interviewer likes you, it helps.
