UVa, UNC, U of Maryland, BC, Northeastern, U of Rochester

Legacy:
UNC is my top choice, and my mother, uncle, and aunt all attended UNC.
UVa is my second choice, and my father has a grad degree from there.

Getting into UNC when you’re not actually in NC is practically trying to get into an Ivy (its crazy). However, your SAT scores are just at that 2000 mark, which is considered the lower range of “good”; and your subject tests are 700+ (amazing).

Also- the starting of a Non-Profit? If you need an example of an extraordinary EC that would be it… I think you’ll do great, since admissions are becoming more holistic.

And legacy at UVa can’t hurt, at all.

Personally, I think you’ll get in.
(I’m also immensely jealous of your achievements and SAT scores)

@doctordebbi I appreciate your kindness! Do you have a thread where you would like me to chance you?

Wow! your stats and ECs look really good. I think you starting a non profit in a 3rd world country will give you the edge. Strong letters of recommendation will help as well. It also seems to me that you are taking a lot of rigorous classes- colleges like that. Good luck!
