okay, so i am not a resident of NY so i cannot apply for a CUNY fee waiver. Is there another fee waiver i can apply for or will i have to pay out of my own pocket?

You would have to pay. Are you sure you’re prepared to pay their OOS tuition?

It’s ultimately up to you, but the CUNY schools have lost the reputation they once had as reputable, good schools. If you would like to go to school in NYC, it might be recommended to look at NYU or elsewhere.

Their out of state tuition is not worth it for the poor education you will probably be getting. Obviously it is up to you, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Have you visited?

I got accepted to Cuny John jay and I’m a transfer student from Sarasota florida my out state tuition is not that bad after my registration of 12 credit Hrs. My bill is $5234 I was surprise how cheap it is. My previous college was more expensive than these and I didn’t pay out state tuition. And besides I don’t think John jay could be that bad!

Solano the way I was able to waive my fee was with my Fafsa if yo EFC. is Cero you don’t have to pay the $100 admission fee. Also I just register for my classes I am paying out state tuition in my bill is $5234 for 12 Credit Hrs. Not bad it all. More than Half of that it is cover by financial aid so I’m happy good luck don’t be afraid apply
