I am a High School Grad. Please help me selecting my college

I just graduated from high school. I am planning to attend an online university because I don’t want to waste my years waiting for the pandemic to be over. Can someone suggest me which online university is the best for Computer science? Is the degree worth it that I can get a job after I graduate.

I am planning to apply to

  1. UFL
  2. FSU Online
  3. Cal State Monterey Bay
  4. The University of Illinois Springfield.
  5. AUBURN UNIVERSITY

**Cal state Monterey Bay CS online program is a degree-completion program: applicants must be “transfer ready” from another community college/university, or hold a bachelor’s degree in a field other than Computer Science. **

This program would not be appropriate for a recent HS graduate.

**Admission requirements:

CSUMB Admissions Requirements

Students must be transfer ready in order to start the CS Online Program.

Transfer ready is defined as:

  1. Having 60 or more semester credits (90 quarter units) of transferable courses. These must include:
2)At least 30 semester credits (45 quarter units) of general education courses with a grade of C or better
  2. The following four courses (commonly called "Golden Four”) with a grade of C- or better:
    -English Composition
    -Speech/Oral Communication
    -Critical Thinking
-College level Mathematics course (with intermediate algebra as a prerequisite)
    -Achieving a minimum GPA of a 2.00
-Considered to be in “good standing” at current or most recent college/university

Thank you so much. I didn’t realize. Do you know any other online universities for CS.

US News has a list: https://www.usnews.com/education/online-education/computer-science-bachelors-degree

Are you in-state for any of these? Yes, it is OK to choose your cheap in-state option.

Two more online programs to investigate are:
University of Maryland Global Campus https://www.umgc.edu/about/university-of-maryland-global-campus/index.cfm
and
Penn State World Campus https://www.worldcampus.psu.edu/

Both of these have been doing distance ed since before things went online, and may have some “live” classes near a military base close to you as well once things clear up.
