I am a parent of a recent college graduate and they want to go back to school despite being academically inept

My child initially started college wanting to be premed, but washed out, a 3.56 science GPA. A’s in general chemistry, data science, and physiology, in addition to all lab classes, but got B+'s in calc/stats and a B- in organic chemistry.

They then switched to business and economics and killed it, earning all A’s and A minuses. Now they have a great job in business and I am so proud!

However, they hate their job and I don’t know what to do. They’re also not performing well at the job and their company is doing layoffs!

I really don’t know what to say. They’re clearly not suited for STEM and they’ll never get into any medical school. And even if they did, they’d probably fail out.

Any advice??? They hate the college they went to and they feel like college backed them into a corner and forced them into business because they’re not smart enough for anything else.

Hi PenguinCrayon

For obvious reasons, I’m closing the thread.
