<p>dude there’s a difference between worrying when you have a GPA of 3.75 out of 4.00 and when you have a 3.75 out of 5.00. when you express your worry about the former, it’s insulting to those (like myself) who have even lower GPAs. </p>
<p>in any case, i dont have to justify my 3.7 to you. i have an extremely sharp improving trend and i go to a school that’s tougher than >99% of high schools in america (i’m an international). </p>
<p>having said that, i apologize if it seemed like i was hurling abuse at you. on the contrary, i’m know that you seek reassurance from these forums (just like many many others here) but i’m telling you that the more time you spend here, the less reassurance you will find. after all, ivy admissions are more or less a crapshoot and whatever people might tell you, you (and i) both have a shot but statistically, aren’t going to get in.</p>
