I am a sophomore in high school. I live in California and want to attend UC Santa Barbara. I was doing some research about admission and A-G courses. I noticed universities use your 10th and 11th grade grades to calculate your GPA. I ended first semester of 10th grade very poorly, about a 2.1 GPA. Right now it looks like I have a 3.0 which I am hoping to keep up for the final second semester report card. Wondering what my chances of being admitted to UCSB are, or any four year university. Or maybe I am misinterpreting how they calculate GPA's, I just want to know if my 2.1 GPA will effect my chances.

Any suggestions ? ??
