<p>Man, I just got a call today from the admissions office. I have my complete application in, and I'm applying for the fall semester for political science. I'm a homeschooled senior, but I'll have my A.A. in December from dual enrollment. Anyway, the lady said that they could "accommodate" me with a slot as a transfer in January! However, I had to tell her that I chose to wait until fall 09 so I could finish my senior basketball season as well as some other high school stuff. So am I making a bad choice by not taking this opportunity, or do you think they'll still accept me for the fall semester? FSU isn't my top choice, so it won't kill me if they reject me Dec 3. But it's still a dang good opportunity, and I feel like I may be gambling here....</p>
<p>Sounds like you already told her you wanted to wait until Fall so don't beat yourself up over it and just wait and see what happens. Since it is not your first choice, just let fate take its course and hopefully you will end up at the best fit for you.</p>
<p>^ True. But I did ask her how long I had in case I changed my mind (November 1), so it's not necessarily a done deal.</p>
