I am curious

I know someone who is applying ED to UPenn.

He has probably a high gpa 3.95+uw but only has taken 4 or 5 ap classes (only an ap scholar - doesn't score very well)
SAT is pretty low, 2000~2100
Good ECs, Participates in cultural activities and has officer positions in different clubs
Now the real hook, is that he has strong legacy from father and brother.
You think he can get in?

Yes.
10char

Definitely has a shot.

Colleges don’t care too too much about AP scores, and his legacy status makes his SAT not as bad. Plus he has a good GPA.

BUT POST IN THE CHANCES FORUM.

I have a 12 act and a 2.0 gpa can i get in

No, Penn’s average GPA is a 2.5 and average ACT is a 19. You’re cutting it a little short ^
