I am dedicated, and want to know if College would agree or not?

Kunatah, you seem to be a very ambitious person- you have belief in yourself, which according to me is very important. You are well aware of your weaknesses and are working towards it. Bravado.

Now, it’s time for you to find your forte, something (be it Scouting/Programming/Pure Sciences/Math etc.) you are passionate about, a subject in which you can completely immerse into and spend countless hours without even realizing how much time you’ve spent. Really, I’m saddened by the hostility of the previous posters, makes you wonder how many of them actually ended up in elite schools. DON’T give up on opportunities, personally, I’ve always felt that receiving responsibilities should be taken as a compliment, and always remember to give your 100%.

Listen to your inner voice, it somehow already knows what you want to do, if you feel you are doing something just for the sake of it (not saying that you are), then drop it, trust me, it’ll be a waste of time. Develop those qualities in you which will mold you into an expert in your forte.

Sorry for the long post, just wanted to chime in. In the end, just remember to trust yourself and have belief. It’ll go a long way in ensuring you live up your dreams.
