The truth is that a lot of people transfer to their local university for convenience like in your case. People from outside of SoCal hear about the high transfer rate to UCLA and decide to move under false pretense that SMC has some sort of exclusive agreement with UCLA.”</p>
<p>Some CC’s can increase your chances of getting into UCLA, but they’re all over the state. You’re right, moving to LA is unnecessary, but going to a TAP college will make transferring to UCLA easier.</p>
