You have a very good chance, try to make ur essay how ur a female and want to persue engineering and willingness to travel across the country and high interest in these university.

You have a good chance but it will ultimately come down to your essay and recs. Your essay will be the first thing they pick up since ur international applicant.

Extracurricular activites:-
Intern, an electrcity company
Research project(related to eletrcity)
200+ hours of volunteer work
Launched a campaign ( related to electricity only)

Got great narration and communication skills ! Teachers mentioned it, additional rec from a mentor at a place i worked also mentioned it

I think you SAT I score will be your setback just because those school are very competitive. But your EC’s will definitely help.

Why don’t you retake the SAT again and apply to other schools RD? Just to be safe.

Cornell: Reach
GA Tech: Safety (because you used EA wisely)
UMI: Low match
CMU: Reach

Try Virginia Tech or Michigan Tech also…

I am pretty happy to hear such positive answers…
but, people i am an INTERNATIONAL student from INDIA … I thought i had no chance at these univs…thanks for giving me some hope…

And is GA Tech really a safety??? kinda hard to believe…
and Cornell is a reach…but…do i have atleast a little bit chance of getting into Cornell??

I think you have great chances
The SAT scores are excellent, don’t worry about those
your ECs are very good
I think you have a really good chance at most of the ones on your list  Good luck!!

I don’t think Cornell will put that much attention on CR if you’re applying to electrical engineering; then you have a chance.
