Hopefully now I have your attention. I am a senior in HS this year. On my desk are 3 letters of acceptance, my top two schools, and my safety. I intend to possibly send in my 200$ next week.

I am having a rough first semester. I will for sure have 3 academic classes that won't be problems, physics, economics, and AP Gov. That leaves 3 classes up in the air. My predicament follows.

AP. Lit- First quarter D+, teachers is terrible at putting grades in so I don't know what I'm at in 2nd quarter but I am working hard. I should get a C of some sort at semester, trying for a B-.

Intro. College Algebra- I suck at math, my transcript will tell you that. First quarter 77.5%, will probably do about that well this quarter, waiting on the final (20% of my grade) to kick me up. Again, aiming for B-, prepared for slightly worse.

Humanities (honors)- Grades are a bad barometer until the final, but there is a chance that I come away from that with as low as a C.

I was accepted with a 3.14 UW, and the letter C has appeared on my transcript previously. I don't intend to take a senior slide, I have already bounced back like never before, but I've dug a bit of a hole here. I want to wait until the end of the year, second semester will be C free, but my first choice school requires a mid year report. Should this worry me? Might I get a warning letter at semester? Should I hold off on my decision (as in not tell my safety I'm not attending) or will I be ok? I was in this little pickle literally within a couple weeks of starting school, so it's not going to happen again, but I can't shake these bad Q1 grades.
