Hey everyone, I just wanted to get others’ opinions on if I’m insane to think there’s a chance of me getting into NYU. I’m applying as a Journalism major. 3.0 gpa. 1750 SAT superscore. Extracurriculars include drama club, SING (student run theatre production), yearbook committee & editor of a literary magazine. My CA essay & supplement was applauded by everyone who’s read it & my recommendations written by AP teachers. Any thoughts?
All I can say is that your GPA and SAT scores are going to severly lower your chances for NYU. Just wait and see what happens when the letters come out.

there 50% is around a 1910 soo kinda far off…take the SAT again

Sorry, but NYU is an unreachable dream with your GPA and SAT. If your cost isn’t a problem at all, I think you may consider going to CC or different school then apply for transfer to NYU.
