So you are in college yet what basic things you don't know?

For me they are

Ice skating (I still think it's stupid)

Biking (yeah I can't ride a bike)

I only know freestyle (swimming) and backstroke

Ski, but then again I live in Florida so you know. If I ever go for on a trip to a place that its possible to skit or snowboard i’ll try to learn though.

-build a high-tech startup
-run a pyramid scheme
-wean a baby
-shuffle a deck
-eat crawfish
-roll my r’s
-write in cursive
-catch a praying mantis
-suppress the gag reflex
-moonwalk
-tie dye a shirt
-blow glass
-blow a bubble (gum)
-shovel a walk
-read morse code
-discern pitch
-whistle
-bonk
-sign the cross
-fish
-drive a stick shift
-play sudoku
-throw a football
-be a skux
-use chopsticks
-draw the super S

I still can’t roll my r’s either, it’s so frustrating! Does anyone who knows how have any tips? That and I can’t snap the fingers on my right hand.

Biking isn’t that hard. I got my first bike the summer after my junior year of high school, and I picked it up immediately. My tip would be to practice pedaling, because the bike can only stay in balance if it’s in motion.

Could you do the following?
1.write a check
2.balance a checkbook
3.seperate white clothes from colored clothes and use bleach
4.open a bank account
5.apply for a credit card, use credit wisely, pay bills on time
6.read the newspaper and carry on a conversation about what is going on in the world
7.have a discussion about things unrelated to partying or drinking
8.taking an interest in financial matters…such as investing
9.iron a shirt or dress
10.take clothes that need to be cleaned professionally to the dry cleaner
11.recognize that smelly sheets will make your roomate want to spray your sheets with lysol and ward off any potential visitors to your bed.
12.guys should dress equally attractive to girls when going to a party

Sorry I just couldn’t resist…I have four kids who are either in college or have graduated and know lots of college kids as a result. The above things listed is just a tiny portion of the things that college kids don’t know but should know.
