I am officially freaking out man.

hilary/hillary? (I always forget) clinton has an amazing recipe for oatmeal chocolate chip ones. it's online on her website i think

Hmm that's interesting, I'll look them up.

Has anyone ever tried the (in)famous $250 cookie recipe? You know, the one you receive forwarded emails about, where it tells the story of a disgruntled Neiman Marcus cafe customer who was charged $250 for a cookie recipe when she thought it was only $2.50...and now she's spreading the yummy recipe to the world as revenge so the greedy capitalistic manipulative restaurant owners can never again take advantage of a poor cookie-loving soul like herself? I've always wanted to try it, but I always just end up sticking to Tollhouse.

haha chucking cookies? How could you ever think of something so crazy? ::protects cookies::

xuper. yes there are a lot of interviewers in ny but there are like 12x as many applicants. Not everyone gets an interview.

I haven't been contacted for an interview either. But then again, I had one last year when I applied, which went well, so I don't think I really need another one. It was with an anesthesiologist, which was good because I am considering medicine and even anesthesiology. And the guy emailed me, so all of you may want to check your emails in case that's the way they decide to contact you.

wait- last year? are you transferring?

No I took a year off and decided to reapply.

that's awesome... did you get to do anything exciting? are you applying EA?

Well, I started my own business and I'm hoping that will be a plus for my application. I'm also planning what courses to take, and what EC's to do so that I can get into med school in four years. And yes, I applied EA.

so you didn't get accepted last year? :(

no :( But I am hoping that my senior year marks and the fact that I started a business, and a new and improved essay will change that. Plus I am applying EA this year.

alukaszewicz, looks like we're in the same pool here. I sent my app EA last year, but unfortunately I didn't get an interview:( So I decided to take a year off too...

My daughter recieved a letter with the name of the interviewer in our area but hasn't heard from them yet....so I called Yale and asked if we should initiate the interview and was told....NO, and that the interview is not at all required...only if it is convenient for the interviewer and that her application will not in any way be seen as less interesting without an interview....so you can officially stop freaking out

People are freaking out because some people, like myself, don't have 1600, 800,800,800 and want that extra push from an excellent interview. It's another chance to make yourself a person and not a number.

My SAT IIs are good but my sat i is nowhere near that score
