<p>the mom of a Div III student! I'm so proud of my son. He was born with a severe/profound hearing loss - we were told by a well meaning audiologist when he was diagnosed "he might be able to talk". Thanks to wonderfully supportive teachers and health professionals all along the way and a ton of work on his part, including two surgeries for cochlear implants, he's thriving and is in the theater department at Hampshire. Hampshire has been so supportive - it's been the perfect place.</p>
