The application was successfully submitted to Stanford. But I was so shocked when it said

"Form 2 - Student Information Form Freshman 2005: Submitted - Submitted Date: 12/16/2004 1:25:00 AM E.S.T."

I DID NOT KNOW they were following EST time, i thought they were following the time in cali... Am i screwed or what now??!!? my application isn't sent off????

just pray stanford sticks to PST, i mean some played it safe and had it in before 12 AM EST, others assumed it was based on Pacific... I'm praying everything will be aight... for the both of us :)

well if regular is based off anything like early action was (which I don't see why it shouldn't be), then we should be fine

"Reminder: Single-Choice Early Applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Standard Time, November 1. This includes both Form 1 and Form 2. If you receive confirmation that your application was successfully submitted and the timestamp is after midnight, we will still accept your application; there is no need to contact our office."

It says no need to contact office, but I can understand you concern

Oh good :) I just got an email from Stanford saying that they've received my part 2. Thanks mistaippa, i've been looking for that "submitted by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Standard Time" in the stanford admissions webpage....

It's all about PST time, I wrote my essays and submitted at the last minute too and I got the Stanford email :) Kinda funny cause there was this period of time around 12 midnight EST that the website was going super slow, wonder what was going on then? ;)

tennis, this is what it says on Stanford's site right now
"The deadline for submitting Regular Review applications has passed. If you have received confirmation that your application was successfully submitted and the timestamp is after midnight, we will still accept your application; there is no need to contact our office"

I think we're ok as long as we got that confirmation email..

it's YOUR component of the app they're most concerned about. a late rec really isn't an issue since stanford understands that a teacher probably has numerous recs to write along with regular duties.

i'm int'l, and yeah stanford won't really make a big deal about late recs.... i got them in before the 15th dec but they still haven't sent me a confirmation
