I don't think I did well on SAT. I am confident that I scored high on writing, and I am surprised that I got a lot of correct answers on CR when compared to CCers' since I just guessed on that section, so at least in 600s, maybe 700s if im lucky. But, MATH- I am so angry about this section because I scored mid-700s on math when I took practice tests, but today, I made many stupid mistakes! I feel so bad...

me too... i would be surprised if anyone came out totally happy from the test center...

the test in general was really hard.. much harder than the May test i took.

I envy you! I consider myself a good writer but I cannot write an essay in 25 minutes so it really doesn't show from my writing scores (700 last time... hopefully will improve). It just isn't possible.

darn, i'm not very sad, but i just want to know how i did...

I can't stop thinking about math. math, math, math!!! yeah, i feel sad too.

I think I want to kill myself.

I think I did a lot better than I did in May. May I had terrible 700 math, 620 CR, 620 writing.

I was sick that day, but I think I really did much, much better today. If I didn't do well today, I'll just forget the ACTs and just send only my ACT score (33)

this test was very very bad. to comfort ourselves, let's think about the sweet curves (buahaha). i am also totally depressed now. my left hand is going numb. hope i won't get heart troubles...

im sorry but I know there are a bunch of silent CCers who ruined the curve for us.

People seem to think that the SAT Reasoning Test is supposed to determine your level of mathematical and verbal aptitude. Look at the middle part of that, "Reasoning."

What that translates to is "We're going to give you these problems, that look really easy, and see if you fall for the tricks."

Now, I didn't score perfect, but I did really well. Is it because I'm better at math than other people? Not really. I know people who got 100s in calculus (I have a B) who scored lower than I did.

That's not to say that you don't need math skills to do well on the SATs, it's just not the only thing you need. You need to start looking out for those tricks. What's the best way to do that?

Practice tests! Take as many as you can! Learn what they tend to do, and what to look for!

does that mean that the curve will be lenient this time for MATH and CR?

PS: What would I get on writing if I missed 3, omitted 1, and 8-9 essay ?

gameguy88, if it's like the june SAT, u'll get 700ish... [3wrong 9 essay was a 710]

what about for math? : 5-6 wrong, 3 omitted = ?

yeah, i'm wondering what I would get for 6-8 wrongs, 0 omitted.

Would 12 wrong on CR be a 650 (on this test because it was so hard :()?
I omitted 4, got 2 SC definitely wrong and am certain I got at least 6 others wrong.. crosses fingers

bleh. i already have 790s for verbal/math, but the only time i took the writing, it was 620 -_-. I'm a strong writer in AP Lit and AP Lang, but I just cant do it in 25 minutes. grr I hope I can pull it up to a 700 this time, its my last chance, otherwise no top tier for me =/

Any idea of whether I could pull a 650 with 12 wrong (4 omits)? Although, I have a feeling I may have gotten more than 12 wrong.. ****
