<p>I just took a practice test from the College Board book (I took the Literature part) and I got a 220. </p>
<p>I am so screwed. I have till May to get this up. How do I do this. I hate the readings they give you. I HATE poetry and I hate the old time stories. </p>

<p>Won't the Literature help me with the Critical Reading though. BTW, now that I realized I am a complete idiot with CR, which is the best book to get me better at it?</p>
<p>You're saying you took the CR section of the SAT and got a 220? The lowest score you can get is a 200. You would have gotten a better score if you would have just guessed A on them all or something. Maybe not, but guessing is always a good way. IF you're REALLY REALLY determined, then start learning words(sparknotes 1000 is a good start), and you gotta spend hours analyzing these passages(not one, but just each one you, after you take it, try to notice things about it).</p>

<p>If you're an avid reader and still got a 220/800, then you should just let it go. Do not take the SAT Lit, or else you're college chances will be scr*wd.</p>

Every book/study guide that I studied from OVER prepared me for that darn test!! I stressed out, and was really worried, when in fact the test was super easy. Heck, i got a higher score on the SAT II subject test than the actual CR of the SAT! But if you don't feel comfortable reading, I wouldn't advise taking it. Why put yourself through torture?</p>
