I am so so angry. Please help me.

I don't want to bring up a bad topic ..but i just wanted to say that there is a semi sweet story ending.

i was actually told not to delete anything immediately from the HJT log.
a lot of the advice given here was what I was eventually told to do, just a bit more organized.
boy was I wrong. . . quite a bit of viruses were found, along with the nasty spyware, and "You used to have trojans, viruses, worms, spyware etc...It all gets lumped under the heading of malware now,"
:(
it was a long process, I had to install a lot of files and programs and I had to do a LOT of loong scans (longest was about 10,859 seconds), but thankfully I finally got rid of it all, thanks for all the input guys, thanks to the help I didn't have to reformat the entire computer. (!!)

** But If anyone has a problem with any type of malware, I need to recommend a website that helped me tremendously and will probably help you with any problem you have . .

it's called "Castle Cops", and it specializes in security, they literally have experts to review scan logs and HijackThis logs, and they will tell you exactly what you have to do, all at no cost. They are very good, not only did I remove the annoying spyware, but I got rid of other infections I had and did not know of, previously. Very patient people who will answer any querie you may have.
Thank you all for helping me immediately when I was very worried, you guys are really quite helpful, very much appreciated, no wonder i came here first :)

That's what CC is for. =)

Thanks for the helpful information.

I feel your pain... I just had to wipe everything clean, install windows again, and restore everything back to out of box because my computer all of the sudden failed to work. It was crazy. I'd turn my computer on and only half the stuff worked. Norton didn't catch it, adaware didn't get it, and then tech support sent me to a online based spyware test and it didn't find anything either. There were a few other options, but I decided to just go ahead and reset everything. It works perfectly now.... I was also VERY thankful that I had saved all my photos and documents onto an external hardrive because after things started to go downhill on my computer, I wasn't able to access anything.

Congrats on fixing it.

Yeah, anytime, i'm really glad I found it :)

Anovice I"m sorry to hear that but i'm glad you saved the stuff. It really is an awful thing to have a messed up computer. Technology's great .. when it works.
I really thought I'd have to reformat everything and thankfully I didn't have to do that .. the site also is good with general computer problems, i definently dont think you'll lose anything by visiting if you have a problem. I mean, even when I check hotmail, there are no ads on the side or anything, they did a superb job
