DAMMIT! I did not know that the financial aid package was due #%$^% when the application was. DAMN! DAMN! WHY AM I SO FRIGGIN STUPID! SO, I emailed them asking if they would still allow me to send in the application or if i could withdraw my ED application. What do you guys think? DAMMN DAMN DAMN!

They evaluate financial aid after they make admission decisions, so I don't think the financial aid office has even started yet...I would be surprised if they didn't let you send it. Did you check the fin. aid box on your app itself?

eessh

but did you mark "will be applying for fin aid"?
Make sure to ask if you can apply for fin aid with the regular pool if you still apply early. That would really suck if you had to withdraw!

so technically shouldn't pton be making the decisons pretty darn soon so that the fin aid office has time to get all that done by dec. 15?

they should be...someone posted a timeline somewhere (or a I read it somewhere, anyway...but I don't remeber exact dates).

I think they should start dec. 1
but I don't think the interviewing has to be done by then, because they can just evaluate those who are already interviewed first.
Have you gotten called yet?

I would call the office for something like that..it's pretty urgent and who knows how long it takes them to go through the pile of e-mails applicants send each day....

zant: no...I think I'm not getting one, for whatever reason...

Maybe because you live in KY =)

edit: or you're just that awesome.

Haha, maybe, Bokonon...but I live in a city (yes, we have those;) ) with a decent-sized alum association, so you'd think I would have gotten a call...ah, well..

there are cities in KY!?!?!!? what about electricity? haha, i guess i shouldn't be talking...i am from texas

Yes, we southerners suffer together =)

I live in Lexington, which is technically a city.

Is that the capital? I'm sorry, I don't know geography at all =/

It will definitely be a change...living in Princeton that is.

Frankfort is, but it's nowhere near the largest city/town. Frankfort is technically a town, I believe.

Louisville is the largest city, then Lexington (pop. 424,778).

wow 5 minutes and 11 responses. Thanks zan. Yea I did check down applying for financial aid. How can I be so stupid? My dad is screaming bloody hell and anaphemas at my ear. Im gonna go out and drive for a while. I emailed the place but they ll reply later and I tried calling but it's too late to call them now. DAMN!

Oh Kebree? I saw your art, or at least I think it was yours. And WOW. They're hella good.

haha, Lexington's population is 5.3% of NYC's...

EDIT: Thanks, hobbes! I really hope that fin. aid situation gets straightened out...have you gotten your second postcard yet? I would just call the office in the morning and hope for the best.

Actually I haven't even gotten my first postcard yet. I know they have the application because how else would they have contacted me for the interview? Maybe it's because Im in Alaska and I just moved to a different part of town. damn.

I think Houston's population is around 2.5 million.

Alaska! That's so cool!
No I'm not asking stupid igloo questions =)

lol kebree, 5%? I have a feeling I probably see the equivalent of lexington's population every day on my daily commute lol.
