I am terrified

My interviewer hasn't responded to me yet, it's this weekend but I haven't been told location OR time of anything and it's Thursday right now I replied back on Sunday :/ will the interview just not happen? Will that look bad to admissions that I missed an interview or just failed to book it? Should I send another email or will that annoy the alum that I've sent hime two emails?

Harvard interviews are for show. They don’t count. Don’t worry. It is not nice that they haven’t told you time etc., but because of this I think is ok to send one more email indicating that you may have “missed” an earlier email with time, etc and you are just checking back.

Harvard interviews seem to count more than anybody else’s. Harvard actually makes an attempt to interview everyone; other equivalent colleges don’t. Most Harvard interviewers seem to think the admissions office takes their reports seriously. That does not mean the interviews count for a lot relative to other elements of an application file, but they’re not exactly “for show.”

Definitely contact the interviewer again ASAP. Well, ASAP after you have checked any spam filter you have to make certain he didn’t send you an e-mail that got blocked for some reason. At this point, phone would be a lot better than e-mail. He will be way less annoyed at your checking with him now than he would be if he showed up at an interview tomorrow and you didn’t.

I would definitely email the alum again. I understand why you don’t want to email him or her again in case you’d be “bothering” him or her, but the alum took up this responsibility. Maybe just shoot the interviewer a short message and mention that you don’t want to bother him or her, but that you’re just very excited and want to be sure that the interview is still going to happen. If this is your dream, then just remember that you should do anything to get it for yourself!
best of luck in getting accepted!
