I am the happiest kid in the world right now.

After two hours of nauseatingly slow troubleshooting and manual-reading -- I FINALLY have Fedora Core running on my computer!!

It feels almost as good as ascending in NetHack.

Now I can go do homework or something. Or get myself some cake. Chocolate cake. :D

Ubuntu Gusty Gibbon was just released. Get that instead.

But my NetHack screen looks so good with Fedora’s default fonts! :p

omg new ubuntu version?! thanks for telling me!

You had trouble installing Ubuntu…

That’s one of the easiest distros to install. How did you go about doing it? If you want a challenge, try Debian. That’s a pain…

Congrats, though. It’s a really fun OS. Enjoy it. (minesweeper is 1000000X better on it)

EDIT:

Haha, I don’t know how I read that you installed Ubuntu. Still, Fedora is pretty easy. I think they have the same version of minesweeper. Let me know, I’m curious now. =)

I second orion11, but I don’t think Debian is that hard, either.

If you want hard, go try slackware. :P

huh? :x

:x

:x

^ what does that symbol mean?
