I applied Umich before the deadline of EA and they told me that I was qualified for EA in Nov. But till now I still heard nothing from Umich. Yesterday, I called the admission office and the staff there told me that there was simply no decision for me though all the materiels were there! I just don't know what has happened to Umich!
Umich has no admission officers' information on the website, no e-mail to the admission office , everything is in a mass.
What should I do now?

Technically, you could sue them. They guaranteed you a decision by a certain date, and they understood their obligation when they told you that you qualified Early Action. If I was in your position, however, I would call and ask the admissions officers how early you can receive a decision? You should possibly prepare an appropriate argument or such if they tell you that you are now being considered in the regular pool (that is unless you don’t mind that too much).

From all the conversation on CC, one can conclude that UMich was wholly unprepared to deal with the Common App and was simply and thoroughly overwhelmed. They’ll get better at this by next year, by which time they will find your application, so don’t fret.

Totally panic and frustrated. I just made a phone call and they said they simply forgot me and they would make a decision by the end of this week. I guess no one else here met the same thing as me.
