I sent my ED 1 application off last week to Kenyon last week, but I'm kind of having second thoughts. I really love the school, I just don't think I can get in and that it was a waste of time to even try. I would love it if I received some brutal honesty that way I won't get my hopes up too high. I know no one can be absolutely sure, but here goes...

I have a 4.0 UW and a 4.2 W (school only has 2 AP's)
I got a 30 on the ACT, but my writing section was only a 6 (this is a bummer because Kenyon is a writers college, normally I am a great writer and I hope my essays will reflect that. Half of my senoir class read them and they all said they were great, so I hope they were right.)
I have taken several dual credit classes (history, trig, calc I, calc II, statistics, college algebra, and biology)
I am bilingual but not foreign (live abroad for 8 years b/c dad is in Airforce, speak fluent German, and a low German dialect but I don't know if that counts as another language)
I have over 500 hours of community service
I shadow at the hospital
I am in 7 clubs, and an officer in 4.
I had great teacher recs as well, including my AP English teacher who really talked about my true writing skills.

I really want to go to Kenyon, I visited and everything. I'm just a bit nervous because everyone is telling me I will get in, but they are friends so of course they say that. I'm hoping for some purely objective opinions. Thanks
