<p>I got my acceptance letter today...and my parents saw it. After 3 hours, I realized I applied to the wrong school (I even send my sat score to the wrong school!)and I am going to just not tell my parents this so they don't kill me. Since SUNY buffalo have a deadline of March 1, I guess I will just apply to the right school this time. Is there a different application for the honor school or is it still just common app?</p>

<p>To apply for the Honors College, you would just use the common app, unfortunately the Honors College requires all your information to be on file by December 31st so you missed the deadline for the honors program. </p>
<p>However, it wouldn’t hurt to call and ask either the admissions office or the honors college (although admitting your mistake may make you feel a little silly) to see if they can do anything or if there’s a way to get into the honors program later. <p>OMG…shakes hand…I thought I was the only one dumb enough to do this. Eh…no My parents can live without knowing this. Now I just need to sneak my Mom’s credit card and pay the $50 and hide the SUNY buffalo result when it comes.</p>

<p>Yes call and ask the admissions if you can still apply for honors. If not, it’s okay just apply regular through the application for UB.</p>

<p>Yea I too know a person who applied to Buffalo State instead of UB. Thankfully I told him to check if he applied to the right one and he realized that he didn’t so he had time to apply to the right school.</p>
