Whether you're there already, or you have yet to get your email...

Why did you apply? Why do you want to go?

What makes Harvard...well, Harvard?

Whether you're there already, or you have yet to get your email...

Why did you apply? Why do you want to go?

What makes Harvard...well, Harvard?

Math department (esp. Math 55)

Financial Aid+

Sexy architecture.

I lived there for a month in the summer, and felt totally at home.

Dunster House and Boston Tea Stop.

They have the craziest, most amazing classes in VES.

Because its almost as good as Yale

VES? What is that?

Visual and Enviromental Studies - the art department essentially. Last year one of the courses was Demolition (or something similar). The entire point of the class was to demolish things and make art out of them...

^ Cool, I hope that is what I get to do...if I ever get there.

If you must know, and please don't get angry at me if you applied for a real reason, I applied to Harvard because my parents blackmailed me and said that if I didn't apply, they wouldn't pay for my other college applications.

Clearly my parents aren't aware that the current acceptance rate of Harvard is plummeting as we type.

...of the prestige

prestige and financial aid.

When I visited, there was a torrential rainstorm. A downpour of epic proportions. Not even an umbrella would protect us! And as I meandered dreamily about campus (darted frantically from building to building taking care not to slip and fall on my face), a lightning bolt flew from the sky and struck the chapel in front of me, just feet from where I stood.

My hair stood on end. It was a sign. Oh, yes. It just had to be. :]

That's when I knew I had to apply to Harvard.

Haha.

My father went there for grad school, so I'm familiar with the school, but honestly? The first time I ever visited I just fell in love. There's just about nothing I dislike about Harvard. So, I'm sure I'll be accused of prestige ho-ness till the end of time, but whatev, I <3 it. =D

Prestige. I want to tel everyone I went to Harvard.

Porcellian Club- for sure

I want to be on the Committee on University Resources for sure

I'm liking how everyone is not in denial about liking H for the prestige...

The visit.

Every single one of my friends hated Harvard after visiting, so I had no idea what to expect.

It was absolutely amazing. I was unsure about applying before then because I knew it was a big reach, and is for anyone, but afterward I just kind of had to. Even if the odds were terrible.

Because Cambridge has the best bubble tea I have ever tasted.

(Sadly, this is not a joke.)

I didn't apply, because Harvard sucks, but I'm seriously regretting it now because of Lena Chen. Girl is HOT. Single-handedly rekindled my attraction to Asian women. Bravo Lena.

1.Because "Harvard" probably looks good on a sweatshirt.
2. Because I knew I would Get IN.
3.Because I do what I want.
4. Because I have connections.

1) prestige and yes stevenwheatland it does look good on a sweatshirt
2) great history deparment
3) so pretttty :) and cambridge/boston is awesome
4) dad told me to, and i listened

^ ooh connections. What kind?

I really love Cambridge, the campus, and the people! I love their programs, too.

The connections like family/friends are faculty, alumni, and work for admissions at Harvard.
