I applied to Harvard because...

because Yale wouldn't take me

-Research
-Prestige is always a factor to some degree
-Financial Aid --- It's one of the only out of state schools my family can afford (along with Princeton and Yale.. and UMich because they gave me merit scholarship stuff).
-Location
-Networking
-Obama went there (well, for grad school.. close enough!)
-Crimson is my favorite color

I love how everyone's too afraid to list prestige first. Come on guys, it's okay, we're all shallow. I don't talk to ugly people, if it makes you feel better! Let it all hang out!

1) Wanted to be a part of an upcoming engineering program
2) If i got rejected from MIT (which i did), i'd still be able to take some classes there through cross registration.
3) Harvard Business School
4) Boston, Mass
5) Prestige

If I get in, it would be the luckiest thing that's ever happened to me in my life. but i'm probably not going to get in so oh well. good luck to all!

1)its harvard
2)all the asians are doing it
3)its freaking harvard
4)if i don't get in, i'm gonna get a 60$ rejection letter which i'm gonna frame and put in my dorm room of whichever college i'm going to.

i'd like the chance to go there.

Because they send an application.

because i went to the bathroom and said if i pooped it was a sign I was made of crap and should therefore apply to harvard.

I applied to Harvard for law school I had been rejected by Princeton and Yale as an undergrad, and wouldn't have comfortable returning to the dugout until I had that third strike.

because they have the dankest ganja

^ Not true.

Lol this Asian = apply to Harvard is srs business.

Got rejected as undergrad.

Go to UMD-CP now.

But will be attending Harvard Medical School this fall.

I applied to Harvard because of its ridiculously awesome Classics Department.

Prestige (and the superstar faculty that goes along with it)

Financial aid

Course selection

Seems less stuffy than Princeton or Yale

My dog, Sam, told me to apply.

It also provides some insight about how its also important to find that school that best fits you and that you aren’t going somewhere just because of the name of the school.

I did a lot of speeches at my school about the school of best fit. I have friends who have gone to Harvard, but didn’t like it because it just wasn’t for them; they wanted the name on their resume.
