Take HL math if you have a death wish (i.e. if not getting a 7 sits okay with you). Obviously Chem. I don’t know what your other interests are, so meh on the other subjects.

oh mann is HL math really that hard?? and do most people really need to get 7s? I feel like at my school, no one really worries too much about the IB exams…but I’m not a senior yet, so I’ve probs not been exposed to that much.

You should just choose what you like the most. The math chem bio probably would be best for admins but I would choose a humanities HL as well. My HLs are going to be English and History -mandated by my school as well as Physics and Math. It’s a good balance for me. If I were you chem, math, and English/History.

Math - if you’re going into like analytical chem or quantum chem, you got to know calculus or hella hard math beyond that level.
Chemistry - well, you said you’re going to major in chem.
English - when you are doing research, you have to write a research report.

I’d say History, Math, and Chem. History HL and Math HL are my favorite classes. My Chem teacher hates IB so I don’t really know how legit IB Chem classes are done, but I’m sure it’ll benefit you in the long run.

I don’t know if it’s just my school, but everyone in the Diploma Programme is required to do HL English.
