i-banking career

i'm an international student and im currently deciding between a top business school in my home country and Wesleyan. I want to have an i-banking career in the future, and i wanna ask if there's any i-banks which recruits wesleyan students on campus? (for both summer interns and jobs) how competitive is wesleyan's econ program and how's wes' ability of sending students to top business schools like wharton, stanford, etc?

JPMorgan and Lehman Bros definitely recruit at Wesleyan.

Wesleyan has one of the top (if not THE top) small college economics dept in the country, as this profile of Prof. John Bonin testifies:

According to the Career Resource Center (CRC), five Wesleyan professors (Bonin, Lovell, Moore, Rayack and Miller) have taught full or part-time in business programs at seven different institutions including Yale, MIT, and Carnegie-Mellon; they offer business oriented economics courses at Wesleyan that are similar to MBA-level courses.

Also, according to the CRC, there are Wesleyan graduates currently enrolled at the following institutions:

* Columbia University
* Harvard University
* Kellogg School of Business (Northwestern)
* Sloan School of Management (M.I.T.)
* Stanford University
* Stern School of Business (NYU)
* St. John's University
* University of California, Berkeley
* University of California, Los Angeles
* University of Chicago
* University of Connecticut
* University of Houston
* University of Illinois

then is wesleyan a so-called 'target school'? how easy is it for wes students to get summer internship in investment firms?

I'm not familiar with the terminology, but according to the CRC website the following companies contacted Wesleyan during the 2003-2004 academic year, the last for which statistics are available:
