I-banking Stanford

I'm interested in entering the field of i-banking, and I have been accepted to Stanford University.

Is there a specific major that one can recommend for a career in i-banking. Note that Stanford is not AACSB accredited in undergraduate accounting. They only offer graduate accounting (I say that because accounting seems to be a popular major of choice).

Thank you!

You can major in economics

You don’t say! Results are out already!?

he may have defferred his admission a year from last cycle.

many top schools these days still have not implemented an undergraduate business program. However, many will allow you to take classes in the graduate program or may have electives available to minor is business studies, managerial studies, or focus your economics education towards finance or accounting. Look into it.

Do engineering. Ibanks will hire you for quant skills and it’s what Stanford is known for. If you want to do a masters in accounting program, you would probably be able to save quite a bit of money by going to a university that is ranked higher for accounting and offers a 5-year program.

Really ?!

Notice he hasn’t responded.

Sorry about that. I was accepted through a QuestBridge scholarship. Skittles recommended pursual of engineering (I already have a passion for that!) with some economics on the side. Does anyone have any opinions on that?

Major in anything you like. Just emerge a leader and influencer.
