<p>Will this completely ruin my application?</p>
<p>I know that's a silly question, but I'm seriously worried that my chances at all of my schools are shot because of this abysmal score.</p>

<p>No. Well I am, but I’m super mixed so I don’t look Japanese, none of my relatives speak it, etc. My last name is Hispanic. . . </p>

<p>Is this your only SAT II? A 600 shouldn’t “ruin” your application, especially if there are other items that set you apart.</p>

If so you can still retake in Dec.
Most, but not all, schools also accept the January date.
If the schools that you are applying to only require 2 SATIIs, then you don’t have a problem.</p>

<p>You really think that a 670 in LIT isn’t totally detrimental (even with top schools)?</p>
<p>I was told that SAT II scores can help your app if they are high but won’t really hurt you if they are low as long as your SAT I is strong. My son is an athlete, though, and a parent of someone who was recruited by an Ivy gave me this information, so it might pertain to recruited athletes. My son did very well on his SAT I, but can’t take a subject test to save his life. He has taken math II and literature twice now and his highest score is a 630.</p>
<p>Dude just don’t submit it. Even the schools that require all scores aren’t even clear if they want all subject tests. Don’t worry.</p>
